Population Health PhD - Northeastern University.
Over 15 graduate certificates are available. Certificates can be taken in addition to or in combination with a master’s degree, or provide a pathway to a master’s degree in Northeastern’s College of Engineering. Certificates are also available for PhD students. Additionally, master’s programs can be combined with a Gordon Engineering.
Northeastern University Computer Science PhD students should have teaching skills, even if they chose a career outside academia. This includes the ability to communicate material of different degrees of complexity and depth to audiences ranging from general to specialized.
The PhD and MS programs in the Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences seek to provide both a broad background knowledge base, and an in-depth study of a specialized area of biology. The programs emphasize close interaction between graduate students and faculty members in developing the intellectual and experimental skills required for creative, independent research.
